In what seems like a calculated attempt to stave off the ‘Slow News Day Blues’, The Telegraph reports that the advance guard of a giant alien jellyfish invasion fleet* has been found in Oxfordshire.
Surely, they can’t have ran out of material for the long-running ‘MP’s Expenses’ saga already….. !?
No, wait… hang on apparently Jacqui Smith is to resign from her position as Home Secretary; and Lord Falconer, ever with his finger on the pulse of public opinion, states the bleedin’ obvious.
* although it could also just be an artistic representation of the Great Flying Spaghetti Monster, in all it’s noodly appendage majesty
